Casper is shy but, does warm up slowly. He is playful and will follow a doggie sibling for direction to and from the doggie yard. He loves to sleep on the couch and will let you pet him and snuggle if you start petting him when he is sleeping.  Since he startles easily, he would be best with older calm human companions that have patience to build up that trust. We are working on hand signals.  He is mostly house trained and is working on it, but, there are occasionally puddles. We need him to have a fence as you are not able to call him back. He likes attention when he is in his safe zone and his crate is one of his safe areas.

Good news, we have found Casper does have some hearing, and will respond to hand signals, We are working on more training and signals.

Hi Casper here, I just wanted to update everyone. I have decided life in doors is pretty cool. I have my own den and I get to go for walks and I get feed regular and  I now will go up to humans hands for food and treats and I will sit for treats.  I will even come up to the humans when I see my t shirt come out cause that means I get to walk. Mom says I have a happy curled tail when I walk. There are no more puddles either. Life is good, now I just want my own home.DO you want a Texas Rebel? I am waiting.
