~Hi my name is Gramby, I am a sweet 5yr old black lab. I have been moved around quite a bit recently and I just really want some people of my very own who will take good care of me!  My original owner moved and couldn't take me with him so he gave me to his sister, but she didn't really want me, and just left bags of food on the floor for me and didn't seem to notice how very unhealthy this was for me.  A nice young girl tried to save me and take care of me, but didn't realize I guess that her mom's lease says NO DOGS so when they found a nice lady who was willing to take care of me for a few days during the flood evacuations, they asked her to keep me and take care of me... well that is where I am now, and it turns out she is a foster parent for Last Hope but already has a handful of fur-kids of her own and she knows I deserve my very own family -- so here I am, looking for you!

I am a very good girl, I know how to sit, and am potty-trained.  I don't mind other dogs, as long as there is enough attention to go around.  Because of the feeding situation mentioned earlier, I am a pretty big girl right now and I sometimes jump and can be a little pushy so I shouldn't be in a home with very young children.  I REALLY LOVE to be around people and probably because of how much I have been moved around, it takes me a few days to feel like you aren't abandoning me when you leave the room. A family with some older kids would probably be PERFECT for me, to get me moving and help me lose weight, and someone to give me attention frequently.  I love to have my ears scratched, and to curl up on the couch with you!
