~~Hi Roxie here! My foster parents can’t figure out why I have been overlooked… my volunteer friends, foster family, daycare friends, and everyone I meet says “I’m just the BEST!”. They recently did a DNA test on me and found out I’m 75% Great Pyrenees and 25% Pitbull/Terrier but my foster mom thinks the 25% is really part Polar Bear, because I love to be outside even when its cold out, so a fenced in yard would be a must.

 I’m just a little over 1 ½ years old, potty trained/ kennel trained, pretty good on a leash but a little obedience school wouldn’t hurt anybody. My foster parents leave me in my kennel when they are at work and I dance when I see they are coming to break me out!  I love all people, all dogs, all kids, and maybe even cats.. I haven’t been around many cats, but I’d probably love them too. I love to give little kisses on my human friends faces but sometimes because of my size I knock the little ones over trying to do this, but I don’t mean too. I’m really sweet with kids, they just have to like my size.

My friends sometimes call me a “class clown,” I don’t know what that means but they sure laugh at me a lot. I love playing with my four-legged foster sister at home, she is the same age and we have a blast. I would love to have another dog to play with at my new house preferably not an old boring dog, but I settle for being an only dog and getting ALL the attention too. I have discovered these wonderful things called “Bed” and “Couch” I would love to be able to snuggle with my new family on one even if it’s just for a few hours. I would do best with an active family that wanted to take me places, for walks, hikes, swimming, and maybe even to see my friends at daycare.
