Good things come in small packages and Lacy is no exception. At only 40 pounds, this little 8 year old corgi/collie mix will make someone an excellent companion. She is a quiet girl and needs a quiet home with no other dogs. She does not mind cats, and is very good at being in the house alone without incident. Rawhides, treats and love is all this little girl needs to be happy, and she loves to be cuddled. Lacy has been in her foster home long enough for her personality to come out. Though she is very sweet, she can be mischievous. She loves to play fetch and tug, and loves attention, but she can also be a thief. She will steal any chew bone she can find, and hide them all from the resident collie behind the couch where he cannot get to them. For this and other reasons, it would be best if Lacy had a home with no other dogs where she would not feel the need to gather and hide the very valuable resources, or tell the other dogs (in no uncertain terms) who is boss. Since this little girl loves her treats so much, she has been a joy to train. She is very treat motivated, and knows a variety of commands such as sit, down, shake, and roll over. If you have a quiet house, with a quiet place for this sweet girl to curl up and chew a bone, Lacy is the dog for you. Lacy is UTD on shots and spayed.
