Hi! My name is Tobie! I'm a 6 year old Puggle with lots of love to share. Playing ball is the best and if you’re lucky I might let you throw it for me! I am playful but if you decide that staying on the couch is the event for the day, I won’t argue. I am a cuddler at night and will keep you warm. My foster mom says I snore but it's a cute snore. I like to hold my blanket in my mouth when I'm tired, kind of like a pacifier, plus that way it won’t get away.    I am very protective of my human family and I have a hard time when new people come to visit. When we are out on walks or when I'm wondering in the back yard, I really don't like strangers to come up to us. My foster mom is working with me on the best way for people to introduce themselves to me so I feel safe and don't feel like I have to protect anyone.

I have four foster dog siblings and we get along most of the time. We don't really play but it's nice to have someone to hang out with. I lived with cats once and if you have one that is okay with dogs, we should be okay together. I knows sit, shake, and come. Older kids are awesome, but I haven't been around very many young kids yet so I'm not sure what I'll think of them. My foster mom says I will need patience, understanding, garbage cans with lids, no cloth toys (their life is very short when I get to have one), a fenced yard to roam, someone to play ball with and a family willing to love me as much as I will love them.

I am housebroken, crate trained, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. I'm healthy except I got bit by a tick and have Lyme’s disease now. My foster mom said it is manageable but my forever family will need to watch me for symptoms as they show up and make sure I visit the vet for medicine.
