Penelope is a now 5 month old puppy who joined rescue with all of her litter mates in early December when their momma required an emergency c-section. Penelope is now a playful, smart and cuddly girl! She would do great in a home with another playful and outgoing dog; in her current foster home she gets along famously with the grumpy 9 year old male dog and the energetic 2 year old female dog. They will play and wrestle and snuggle all day!  She is mostly potty trained and loves people of all ages, including children.  Penelope is still a puppy so enjoys chewing on items she has access to, she is 95% potty trained and the few accidents that she has had in her foster home, there were signs that she wanted outside.

Penelope’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her distemper, bordetella and rabies vaccines, multiple rounds of dewormer and a microchip.  Included in the adoption fee for each puppy is a free beginner training class at Cedar Run Company #2 in Hiawatha!   Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any current/former pets altered, as indoor pets only and kept current on all vaccines and preventatives.
