Tabby / Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Baby : : Large
Najee ... pronounced NAH-gee... means 'stoic & strong' in Swahili. He was named after one of the ninja warriors from the TV show 'American Ninja Warrior.' This handsome Gray Tabby boy and his sister, Hashiki, were formerly feral kittens who were trapped in a feral colony in a very low income part of town. There was a lady who was feeding them, and while trapping and doing TNR for the adults, we thankfully were able to catch these two beautiful kittens, tame them down, and give them an opportunity for a better life! His face is so precious - and his greenish/gray eyes are so unusual! He looks like a wise old man... don't you agree? Najee is a BIG BOY and is so sweet... he's like a big 'ole lug who flops down beside you on the couch for a good old fashioned rub down, and enjoys being petted and having his belly rubbed! He head butts you, too and purrs up a storm but has the TINIEST meow for a big boy! He also like to lay on the back of the couch and mess up your hair, too! :) He loves attention and will seek you out and likes to lay beside you or on your lap, (belly up, too!) but not cuddled up too close to your face ... yet! His foster mom bets that will be coming next! :) He loves toys and batting things around! Likes catnip toys, too! He's been raised with 7 other kittens and an adult female in his foster home; they all get along great! He's not been around dogs yet, but he seems pretty laid back so will do just fine if properly introduced! Older kids may be best too - he hasn't been around little ones. If you don't already have other friendly pets in your home, kittens are always best adopted in pairs so they have someone to rough and tumble with and get out all of the 'natural kitten aggressiveness' and the urge to 'hunt prey and kill'... :) Which will leave all their lovin' for their family! It would be wonderful to have him and his sister adopted together; it would be good for both of them! Until there are none, please adopt one; so they aren't blue, why not adopt two?" (author unknown) Adopt a pair of kittens, and save $25.00!! Najee was rescued on 6/27/18 and guesstimated to be about 7 weeks old; putting his birthday around 5/6/18... making him right about 21 weeks weeks old as of 10/3/18.. He is neutered and has had 4 FVCRP vaccinations and his rabies vaccination; has been dewormed and given a Revolution parasite treatment; tested negative for Feline Leukemia, had a feline leukemia vaccination and the booster shot, and he is Microchipped! Our microchips are registered for you at no charge, and they also have a FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION! You only need to contact the company to update your personal information should you ever change your name, your address or your phone number! Najee's Adoption Fee is only $100.00 ~ for the incredible amount of vet work and vaccinations he has already had done, this a tremendous BARGAIN! He is being fostered in Waterloo, IA and may make appearances at the Waterloo Petsmart Store during adoption events.
