This little guy is SO LUCKY to be alive today!   In early-September, a family was enjoying some fun at Myer’s Lake in Evansdale, when they heard meowing.   They started looking around to see where it was coming from and were shocked to realize it was coming from a plastic bag floating IN THE LAKE!   They hurried up and pulled it out and to their HORROR, they found KITTENS!   Unfortunately 3 of the 4 kittens had already crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but thankfully this little guy was still alive!   What kind of MONSTER does that to innocent kittens?   Unbelievable and SO CRUEL!

They rushed home with him and over the next couple weeks got him back to health, and asked LHAR if we could find him a wonderful loving home.   WELL...  Of course we can!

Punkin is a handsome Red Tabby with beautiful markings... and he is THE sweetest little boy!   He is super friendly, loves to purr and cuddle and just look at that adorable face… how can you resist?   He lives with other kitties (Sky, Vadar & Midnight) and has had little girls and adults giving him all the love and attention his little heart desires - and he’s ready to go to his furr-ever home!   We always recommend adopting a PAIR of kittens this age, as they do like to rough and tumble and get into mischief, and a single kitten can get a little aggressive with their playing - ya know - like they want to 'hunt and kill' something, which is their natural instinct!   "Until there are none, please adopt one; So they aren't blue, why not adopt two?"    We give a $25.00 discount if you adopt a PAIR of kittens together, too!  :)

Punkin is about 4 months old as of mid-October 2019.  He is neutered, has had 2 FVRCP vaccinations, his rabies vaccination, he’s been treated for parasites with Revolution, he tested negative for Feline Leukemia, and he is Microchipped!  LHAR will register his microchip for you at no additional charge, and it has a FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION, too!  

Punkin's adoption fee is $100.00.  That's quite a bargain for all the vetting he has had done!  He is being fostered in Waterloo, IA and may be residing in the Adoption Center in the Waterloo Petsmart Store on Flammang Dr. in Waterloo, and/or be in attendance at adoption events in the store as well.  You can apply for him online through the Last Hope Animal Rescue website at  www.adopthope.org!    Please note:  A home visit is part of our adoption process!
