THE ADOPTION CENTER / INTAKE CENTER IS NOT A SHELTER OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING A PET YOU SEE ONLINE PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO GET THE PROCESS STARTED.
LAST HOPE RESCUE IS A FOSTER BASED RESCUE.   OUR ADOPTABLE PETS ARE IN LOVING FOSTER HOMES.

YABBA DABBA DOO!    FLINTSTONES  Meet the FLINTSTONES!   They're our FURRY LITTLE FAMILY!  Caught in the town of Jesup, their home was under an old wooden shed!  Mama Wilma was a feral cat -  much too wild to live inside - so she was fully vetted and went on  back to former outdoor home!  (Just wondering... did you start humming along to the beat of the original Flintstone Theme song from the cartoon show when you were reading the intro?  I betcha were :)

Pebbles, BamBam, Fred, Barney and Betty...  These 5 littermates are about as cute as can be! And you can't get more original than having a family photo of them in a cute, homemade, duplicate Fred Flintstone Car - powered by the pitter patter of their 20 little feet!  We guarantee they will charm their way into your heart with their kitten antics and rumbling purrs! They are super playful, have been spoiled ALOT by their foster mom, and have been raised in a home with older female cats.  Dogs are unknown... but if properly introduced to friendly dogs and KIDS, they are young enough and should adapt fairly quickly to new surroundings.  Always give them time to adapt to their new before allowing them the luxury of exploring the whole house... baby steps are best :)

Kittens are ALWA   YS best adopted in pairs if you have room in your heart, your home and your budget!  Kittens can get into a lot of 'trouble' and plenty of mischief if a single pet in the home, and a pair of kittens give them a playmate when their humans aren't home, AND someone to snuggle with, too!   "Until there are none, please adopt one; So they aren't blue, why not adopt two?"  (author unknown)     Sometimes adult cats - especially senior cats - may not tolerate a youngster pestering them, so please consider adopting a pair of kittens together!

Their guesstimated birthdate is 4/1/22;  they were all spayed and/or neutered and given their rabies vaccination on 7/6/22.  They will get their 3rd FVRCP on 7/9, they all tested NEG for Feline Leukemia, they have been given Revolution - a treatment which kills both internal and external worms and parasites, AND they are microchipped!  There is no charge for you to register their chip under your name and the company has a FREE LIFETIME registration as well!  You just need to keep all information always updated should you ever change your name, address, phone number or email address.

Their adoption fee is $100 each  (quite a bargain for everything they have had done)  BUT if you adopt a pair of kittens, LHAR gives you a $25 discount!

They are fostered in Waterloo, IA but they will move into the Waterloo Petsmart Adoption Center when an opening occurs.   You can apply online through our website at  www.adopthope.org.    All animals in the adopters home must be spayed/neutered, be UTD on vaccinations and be indoor pets only in order to be approved.
