Cherry is a young puppy and has picked up on house training and using a dog door very quickly and has shown excellent social skills with our older, slightly cranky resident dogs. When she gets sleepy, she likes to snuggle and is a real charmer. She enjoys pouncing on her toys and sibling (hilariously adorable) and sunbathing. She’s very smart and extremely trainable, but appropriate chewing is a work in progress. She has fully embraced her inner derp by occasionally sleeping with her tongue out. 

 

Cherry will likely be medium sized as an adult, she does well in the car and a crate (but can be a bit stubborn about going in). She isn’t timid around people and seems to really enjoy making new friends. She’s an all around very good girl!  Cherry  is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and is on the schedule to get spayed soon.  Cherry’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives for consideration.
