Hi, my name is Stella. I am a 2 to 3 years old brindle Pittie-mix that loves to give kisses and hugs. I sometimes forget that I am too big to be a lap dog, but that doesn't stop me as I crave attention! One of my favorite things in the whole world is snuggling and cuddling with my people. I also love playing with toys, but don't expect them to last very long. 

When I was rescued, I had a rough time birthing a litter of pups and was not in the best shape. The volunteers at Last Hope are the best though and my babies and I got the help we needed so now we are ready for our forever homes!

Treats are the best motivator for training me! I know "sit", "stay", "shake", and I know what "no" means. I am learning to walk on a short leash, but can sometimes wander or pull so I still need some work. I am a smart girl and it doesn't take me long to learn new things. My foster mom would say I am a really good listener and she wants me to teach my foster siblings to behave as well as I do. 

I am good with cats and get along with my three foster dog siblings as well. With a slow introduction, I should do great with another furry friend in my forever home. I do however like to scarf down food so I use a slow-feeder and prefer to eat separately from other animals so I don't overdo it at dinner time. 

If you are looking for a sweet dog to be by your side, I am your gal! I promise you will fall in love with me and all my doggie hugs and kisses!

Stella's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, preventatives, and snap testing. If you would like to meet Stella, please submit an adoption application on Adopthope.org! Stella is seeking an indoor only home. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, current on vaccinations and preventatives, and as indoor only pets. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
