Chocolate Labrador Retriever (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
Millie needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Miss Millie is just about as sweet as they come! This petite and friendly chocolate labrador joined us in rescue with her companion, Rolo, not too long ago. The pair had been abandoned by their owner, and when we meet them our volunteers found them to be the friendliest and happiest pups!
Millie will thrive in a home with another dog companion, we think that Rolo would be a great match if you don't already have another pup! She would also love a home with people of all ages, including kids. Millie LOVES attention so the more people in the home to spoil her with pets and rubs, the more puppy kisses she can share! Millie would not like a home where she's left alone for long stretches. Millie is dog friendly and downright spooked by cats! She can't quite figure felines out yet, but she's sure that she doesn't want to get too close to them! Millie is just around 1 year old, she is on the petite side.
Millie's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccines, heartworm testing and preventatives, plus a FREE basic training course at Cedar Run Company #2 in Hiawatha. Millie is seeking a home as an indoor dog only, if you would like to meet her please submit an adoption application through our website! Last Hope requires that adopters with current/former pets have a history of having kept them altered, as indoor pets and kept current on vaccines and preventatives. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
