Brownie is a warm and friendly spayed female chocolate Labrador, right around 4 years old.  Brownie is the ultimate social butterfly with people, she greets new people with ease and in no time has them petting and loving her with a delighted smile! At around 60 pounds of pure Labrador love, Brownie's zest for life (and her healthy Labrador appetite for all things tasty!) might mean that she is best paired with older children as she could be too much for toddlers or infants.  Brownie spent her first few years of life as an only dog, so meeting and mingling with other dogs is still very new to her.  We think that she could potentially pair with an easy going male dog around her size or just as happily be your one and only pet! Brownie rides like a dream in the car, she's eager to be by your side and will make a terrific adventure companion!  

Brownie's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccines and heartworm testing. Brownie is seeking an indoor only home, if you would like to meet her please submit an adoption application on our website, Adopthope.org. Last Hope requires that adopters who have owned animals previously have a history of having kept them altered, kept current on vaccines and annual vet visits and as indoor pets only. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and home visit.
