Ernie is 1/2 of the fabulous duo Bert and Ernie, a five month old pair of Labrador mix brothers that joined us in rescue recently! Ernie is very warm and friendly when meeting new people, he has large, lovely ears just waiting for your pets! Ernie will do well in a home that can give him a little structure. After all, all puppies need a great start to make them into well-rounded adult dogs. Ernie could very easily live with other medium to large breed dogs that enjoy a playful companion, he has not met cats yet, but is likely young enough that he could be slowly introduced to a dog savvy one and live successfully with them.
 

Ernie's adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
