Hi, my name is Heidi! I was out and about with my buddy, Hanna, when we were picked up by Cedar Rapids Animal Control so my background is a mystery. I think I’m around 3 years old and m y foster mom says I’m part Min Pin and some kind of terrier.

My foster mom says it might take me a little bit to settle in to a new home because I'm a little nervous about new things. When new people come over I bark at them for a while until I get used to them.  My favorite cuddle spot is a pile of blankets on the couch. I like to sleep next to one of my humans at night and stay close all night long. I make funny noises when I lay down and sometimes when I sleep. I love people but since I am a little nervous, a family with older human siblings would probably be better. I like all my foster dog siblings but haven’t been around cats or small critters.

I don’t always listen when I’m outside but there is so much to look at when I’m out there I just don’t hear my foster mom calling me. I walk really nicely on a leash and love going for walks. I don’t know any tricks but if you help me learn, I’m sure I’ll pick them up really quick! I am house trained and haven’t had an accident yet.

All of our pets need to be kept as indoor pets and we do require a home visit as part of the adoption process. Landlord (if applicable), vet and personal references will be called. 
The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.
