Introducing  Walter, Watson   and    Mae!

A litter of 6 kittens were born on 5/7/22 after Last Hope Animal Rescue was asked to take in a young female from way down in Moline when no organization had room for her.   This young mama was transported all the way up to Waterloo and had her kittens within just a few days later.  Mama Molly took care of not only her own 5 kittens but also 'adopted'  three orphans born on 5/11/22, and a few weeks later, as they were being weaned, she took in 2 more orphaned kittens as well!  WHEW!  They have all grown up together and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND adopting kittens in PAIRS if there are no other felines in the home.     'Until there are none, please adopt one; So they are't blue, why not adopt two?'  

Two of Molly's five kittens have already been adopted but the remaining three are really sweet kittens who have been lugged around by neighbor kids as well as the foster mom's grandkids and great-grand kids ~ so they are definitely KID Friendly!  They have also been around adult cats and one male in particular decided he was gonna take over 'Daddy' duties and they snuggled with him all the time; he also groomed them and played with them!  They are gentle kittens who love to play with each other and the kids, and but have not been around dogs.  Knowing their sweet personalities, if properly introduced, dogs may be OK if properly introduced.   They are your typical rambunctious kittens who love to romp and play and get into mischief... then crash together and snuggle as a group!

They are 4 months old as of 9/7/22 ... all have been neutered; have been given 3 FVRCP vaccinations and their rabies vaccination; they tested negative for Feline Leukemia; have been given Revolution, an overall internal/external parasite treatment, and they are microchipped!  Our company registers the chips at no charge and it comes with a free lifetime registration as well - you just need to update the information should you ever change addresses, your name, phone number or email address so it is always current should you pet get lost, etc.

Their adoption fee is $100 each,    but Last Hope Animal Rescue gives you a $25 if you adopt a pair together    ~ single kittens get very lonely and can get into mischief if left alone too long. 

This group of kittens are currently fostered in Evansdale, IA and will move into the Waterloo Petsmart Store when cages open up in the Adoption Center.  The Petsmart Store is located at 1506 Flammang Dr.; hours are 9-9 Monday-Saturday and 10-7 on Sundays.  Holiday hours will vary.  You must submit an application and be pre-approved to adopt; we do not do onsite adoptions.  A Last Hope Animal Rescue volunteer will meet you at the store to finalize the adoption after your application has been approved - which may take a few days. 

Last Hope Animal Rescue is based in Cedar Rapids, IA but has dedicated fosters/volunteers who have been rescuing cats & kittens in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls/Black Hawk County area since January 2017. Please submit your a pplication online through the Last Ho     pe Animal Rescue website at   www.adopthope.org.         All current pets in the adoptive home must be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all required vaccinations, and be kept as indoor pets.
