Let me tell you about myself. I am the mother to 10 of the cutest babies ever. I currently live in Evansdale with my foster family. I am very friendly and I do like to play. Right now I'm not a real big cuddler because I'm busy doing Mommy duties. My babies are all heading off to new homes and I sure would like to also! I get along with other cats. I have never met a dog. So if you are looking for that perfect cat look no further, because here I am! May the Luck of the Irish be with you when you choose ME as your new family member!

Ireland showed up in a horse barn in mid-March in rural Traer, IA. She was friendly and very pregnant! They realized she had given birth on 3/17 because they'd seen her on 3/16 and she was still pregnant and when they saw her on the morning of 3/18 looking for something to eat, she wasn't! It took them awhile to find the babies in their barn, and then they were worried they may be killed in the barn with the horses, so on 3/30/20, she and her babies became part of the Last Hope Animal Rescue foster group! Naturally, given their birthdate, we had to bless the whole family with Irish names!

She gave birth to 6 babies ... Pot-O-Gold, Leprechaun, St. Patty, Rainbow, Clover and Blarney! While they were still pretty tiny, a call came in for a nursing mom for some kittens who had lost their mother - so Ireland happily took on three more babies... Harris, Zander and Greyson! Eventually another small kitten (Lola) needed a foster home, and Ireland welcomed her to her 'nest' of babies - so she was nursing 10 babies - altho not all at the same time! Talk about a SUPER MOM!!

Her foster home provides lots of love and snuggles, treats, toys and family members who love to socialize the kittens... and two little girls come over as often as possible to get their 'kitty-fix,' too! Dogs are not included in the mix, but with proper introduction and a little time, it's very possible they will live in harmony with a dog who likes cats! Ireland is starting to entertain herself with toys, etc., but she's still in mama mode and watching out for her little brood!

Ireland is a beautiful Buff & White tabby, and was completely vetted on 6/11/2020. She is spayed, has had her FVRCP & rabies vaccinations, she was treated for parasites with Revolution, she tested negative for both Feline Leukemia and FIV (so her babies will be, too), and she is microchipped! We register the microchip for free for you and this company has a free lifetime registration as well! Her adoption fee is only $85, which is a bargain for all she's had done!

She is fostered in the Waterloo , IA area and may make appearances in the Petsmart Store, located at 1506 Flammang Dr. ... either in the adoption center or at adoption events.
