LAST HOPE RESCUE IS A FOSTER BASED RESCUE.   OUR ADOPTABLE PETS ARE IN LOVING FOSTER HOMES.

Hi Everyone!

My name is St Patty, or Pattycakes, (our foster Mom gives us silly nicknames) but we still love her!   I live with 2 sisters and 1 brother and my Mommy.   I was the smallest of my siblings, but it didn’t take me long to catch up. I can run, play and wrestle with the best of them. I’m a tough little Pattycake. I am looking for my forever home, so if you have room for me, I will pack my bag, grab my blankie and be right over!

Love,

St Patty

.........................................................................................................................

St. Patty's mama, Ireland, showed up in a horse barn in mid-March in rural Traer, IA.  She was friendly and very pregnant!  They realized she had given birth on 3/17 because they'd seen her on 3/16 and she was still pregnant and when they saw her on the morning of 3/18  looking for something to eat, she wasn't!  It took them awhile to find the babies in their barn, and then they were worried they may be killed in the barn with the horses, so on 3/30/20, she and her 6 babies became part of the Last Hope Animal Rescue foster group!  Naturally, given their birthdate, we had to bless the whole family with Irish names!

Two of St. Patty's's littermates were spoken for right away and are with their new families now, but Leprechaun, Clover and  Rainbow are still waiting, too, and we'd love to see them adopted in pairs!  It's always best to adopt a pair of kittens - especially if you have no other cats in the home.  Kittens can be particularly rambunctious and get into all kidns of mischief if they don't have a playmate to rough and tumble with to get out some of that natural 'kitten aggression'... you know - like the urge to kill their prey!  :)   "Until there are none, please adopt one; So they aren't blue, why not adopt two?"  (author unknown)

St. Patty's's foster home provides lots of love and snuggles, treats, toys and family members who love to socialize the kittens... and two little girls come over as often as possible to get their 'kitty-fix,' too!  Dogs are not included in the mix, but with proper introduction and a little time, it's very possible they will live in harmony with a dog who likes cats!

St. Patty's's fur coat is definately a 'coat of many colors' and being a Tortoiseshell, no two of them will ever look alike!  Sometimes Tortoiseshell's can have what we loving call a 'Tortie-Tude', but she and her beautiful sisters haven't shown any signs so far!  :)

St. Patty & her littermates were completely vetted on 6/11/2020.  She is spayed, has had 3 FVRCP vaccinations & rabies vaccinations, she was treated for parasites with Revolution, she tested negative for Feline Leukemia (Mama Ireland was also tested for FIV and was negative so her babies will be too, ) and she is microchipped!  LHAR will register it for you and this company has a free lifetime registration as well!   Her adoption fee is only $100 , which is a bargain for all she's had done!   BUT... adopt a pair together and save $25.00!

Visit the Last Hope Animal Rescue website and   www.adopthope.org   to find our adoption application and submit it online!  We have changed a few of our normal adoption procedures due to the COVID -19 virus.

She is fostered in the Waterloo , IA area and may make appearances in the Petsmart Store, located at 1506 Flammang Dr. ... either in the adoption center or at adoption events.
