My name is Rainbow and my foster Mom says I am a little pistol, whatever that means. I love playing with my 3 sisters and 1 brother, we chase each other and jump in the air and spin and twist. We chase the big cats too. I like to cuddle and be held. I like cuddling with my foster Mom and my siblings. Sometimes our foster mom says we are in a cuddle puddle... how funny!  :)  I'm ready to find my new family and start my new life with them... how about with yours??

Rainbow is one of 6 adorable and darling babies born to Ireland, our 'Luck of the Irish' mama kitty!  This friendly but very pregnant mama was found in a horse barn in rural Traer, IA just before days before giving birth!  They know the correct date of birth because on 7/16 she was pregnant when they lat saw her in the barn and on 3/18 when she came looking for something to eat very early in the morning, it was obvious she'd had them on St. Patrick's Day! They were all given adorable Irish names to celebrate!  

 

Two of Rainbow's littermates were spoken for right away and are with their new families now, but Leprechaun, St. Patty and  Clover are still waiting, too, and we'd love to see them adopted in pairs!  It's always best to adopt a pair of kittens - especially if you have no other cats in the home.  Kittens can be particularly rambunctious and get into all kinds of mischief if they don't have a playmate to rough and tumble with to get out some of that natural 'kitten aggression'... you know - like the urge to kill their prey!  :)  "Until there are none, please adopt one; So they aren't blue, why not adopt two?"  (author unknown)

 

Rainbow's foster home provides lots of love and snuggles, treats, toys and family members who love to socialize the kittens... and two little girls come over as often as possible to get their 'kitty-fix,' too!  Dogs are not included in the mix, but with proper introduction and a little time, it's very possible they will live in harmony with a dog who likes cats!  

 

Her fur coat is definately a 'coat of many colors' and being a Tortoiseshell, no two of them will ever look alike!  She is a precious Tortie and White and almost has the colors of the Rainbow!  Her markings are unusual and beautiful - don't you agree??  Tortoiseshell's can have what we loving call a 'Tortie-Tude', but she and her beautiful sisters haven't shown any signs so far!  :)

 

Rainbow & her littermates were completely vetted on 6/11/2020.  She is spayed, has had 3 FVRCP vaccinations & rabies vaccinations, she was treated for parasites with Revolution, she tested negative for Feline Leukemia (Mama Ireland was also tested for FIV and was negative so her babies will be too, ) and she is microchipped!  LHAR will register it for you and this company has a free lifetime registration as well!    Her adoption fee is only $100  , which is a bargain for all she's had done!   BUT... adopt a pair together and save $25.00!

She is fostered in the Waterloo , IA area and may make appearances in the Petsmart Store, located at 1506 Flammang Dr. ... either in the adoption center or at adoption events.
